What to Expect
On the day of your HVAC cleaning our ASCS ( Air Systems Cleaning Specialist ) will arrive at your home at the scheduled time and begin familiarization with your HVAC system. The HVAC system is then shut down and the blower motor is removed for cleaning. The next step in the process is to stage our equipment and collection device in the furnace area. There are two kinds of collection devices used in our cleaning process, the trailer mounted power vacuum or the Ultra-lite II portable electric unit. Once in place the ASCS will connect the collection device directly to the "supply" trunk of HVAC system which will create a negative pressure throughout the duct system. Next, all but one of the supply and return grills in your home will be covered with a grill mask to maximize the vacuum effect. While the vacuum draws air through the system, positive air pressure devices are inserted into the supply branches to dislodge any debris that might be adhered to interior surfaces. Any debris then travels down the supply branch and into main trunk then pulled into our collection device. While the supply grills are removed, they are HEPA vacuumed to remove unwanted dirt, dust, and debris. After all supply branches are cleaned and the grills replaced, the main trunk is cleaned using positive pressure and agitation tools. The system is then inspected using video or mirrored scopes and re-cleaned if necessary. Once the "supply" side of system is cleaned the ASCS then connects the collection device to the "return" side of the system and the process is repeated. Once the supply and return trunk are clean we then access and clean the furnace's heating and cooling components. Once all access holes are sealed and the system re-started, your HVAC system has been restored to Sinclaire Enterprises' and NADCA Standards
